On average, Americans spend around five hours a day on their phones. FIVE HOURS! That comes out to roughly two and a half months every year. And the number is trending upwards. All kinds of studies have been done revealing the negative impact of this on our well-being, including increased anxiety and depression, social isolation, loneliness, body image issues, and sleep deprivation, just to name a few.
